As we approach the end of the school year, we want to share a few important updates.

We are thrilled to announce that Mei and Herald Chen (Butler High School ’88) are generously supporting students, programs and the broader Butler community through three new endowments totaling $4.5 million.

There will be three practices for the 4th, 5th and 6th grade students who are planning to compete in the May 19 Elementary Track and Field Meet.

The practices will take place at the Stadium Track on Monday, May 11, Thursday, May 14 and Monday, May 18. Practice times are 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.  The practices will be conducted by the Varsity and Jr High Track & Field staffs. 

Join us for Trout Release Day this Saturday, May 9 from 9-11 am at Alameda Park (Jaycees Shelter!

Butler Area School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) Award from The NAMM Foundation for their outstanding support and commitment to music education. Now in its 27th year, the program continues to spotlight and celebrate school districts and individual schools across the United States for their exemplary dedication to music education and their ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to music learning as part of a well-rounded education.

The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc. Fine Arts and Beyond (FAB) Showcase was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who supported the event!
