Butler Area School District is proud to share that Mr. Jeff Kroner has been selected as part of the 2026 class to be inducted into the PMEA Hall of Fame. The PMEA Hall of Fame was established in 2008 to honor outstanding music educators who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to the profession and to music education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

Butler Area School District has been awarded a $7,500 Pennsylvania Farm Bill Agriculture & Youth Grant to support and expand agricultural education opportunities across the district.

Shop with a Cop was a great success!

Students from across the district had the opportunity to go shopping for Christmas alongside local police officers, creating a special day filled with joy, excitement, and incredible memories.

Skip cooking dinner on January 16 and support Center Avenue Community School's drive-by-dinner fundraiser! 

The menu includes stuff chicken breast, green beans, mashed potatoes, salad, dinner roll and biscotti. The food will be prepared by Mark Loveland, a fantastic chef from Heavenly Cuisine Custom Catering. 

The annual Thanksgiving lunch at Center Avenue Community School is a cherished tradition that brings students, staff, and families together in a meaningful way. Each year, the school community gathers to share a meal, celebrate the season, and reflect on the many things for which they are thankful.

Each year I like to remind our families of our Winter Weather Plan. 

I make the decision to delay or cancel school after I review the weather forecast and consult with our Transportation Department. When necessary, the district also consults with the municipalities and other resources within our community. Each decision regarding whether or not to delay or cancel school is made with student safety as the primary concern. I recognize that any delay or cancellation can create hardships for our families and do not take this decision lightly.
